What’s it worth?

So I’m looking into converting my dryer to an electric drive see https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/grain-dryer-electric-drive-conversion.325494/

This will render my old David Brown 990 obsolete so thinking of letting it go to cover the cost of the motor conversion and free up some shed space.
So anyone want to give me an idea of valve please, had new clutch and starter last year and just in the process of replacing the head gasket and a new water pump while it’s in bits.
over all it’s a pretty straight tractor for it’s age, the odd oil drip here and there but nothing more than you’d expect for its age.

Few on fb marketplace ,anything between £2000 and 3500
I was kind of thinking around the 3500 mark with the loader, it’s got a bucket and a bale spike with it.
Ive also got an old steelfab back actor to go on it but that needs some serious re bushing! Good hydraulics though 😉

You wouldn't let it go for any less than £3500. It's original and has plenty of desirable parts on it. If it was mine I'd advertise it for £4000.

Must be worth north of £4k in that state, PUH drawbar and full linkage I presume? If it was mine I would keep hold of it very handy to have little tractor around the yard if you have cover for it
As much as I’m tempted to keep hold of it all it does now is run the dryer, so for 10 months of the year it just sits and takes up shed space!
We did use to use the back actor on the odd occasion but I’ve got a 360 now so even that is obsolete.

We have had it since new, actually bought and paid up front for two of them back when there was money in the job, however I’m not that sentimental and my old man says it can go so as long as I can sort an electric motor drive for the dryer it out the door to free up some shed space for other machines.

Head set and water pump is £70, probably a wet days labour so not a big expense to be fair.
