As above. They are not a pest of stored grain if that is the worry. No idea what they eat or survive on though.

Harmless critter, and not a store insect as per above.
If only one or two they will soon clear off. I did hear of a feed mill rejecting a wheat load with too many clover beetles in it which seemed a bit harsh.

I see, do they prey on crop plants or something else? I've never seen them in any significant numbers anywhere.

I see plenty in my apples but never seen any damage I would attribute to them. I find it surprising they only feed on sap because they are pretty big bugs.
