Just wondered if anyone can shed any light on what’s going on with this lamb.

He was born yesterday, a nice sized single. He’s very vocal and sucks from a bottle without stopping for breath hardly. The trouble is it cannot stand up and wildly waves his legs about. He is eyes are constantly twitching up & down and his head can be a bit “noddy”.

Not had one like this before.

I’m pretty sure I know the outcome but all ideas welcome for future reference.

Thanks

Just another one of the million and one things that can (and will) go wring with sheep I'm afraid.

As above, looks like a nervous system problem.

Had to dispatch one a bit similar here last night. Didn't see ours born, but suspect it may have been 'hung' for a bit. It was running madly, round the shed shouting it's head off. Wouldn't suck the ewe, but drank like crazy from a bottle. After a few days it got as it couldn't get up without help and then started having fits.
Mrs YB gave it every chance but, sadly to no avail:(

The more sheep you keep, and the longer you keep them, the more bizzarre things you see.
