A lot of listed above ones are already high priced or on the way up, TM's worth a small fortune now. One tractor worth a look in my opinion would be the T6090 New Holland, not many sold in this country, most opted for the 6080 instead. So not common as you'll find out when trying to buy one, will be keeping mine as I think they'll only go one way eventually. No AddBlu to worry about and still a very capable tractor indeed.

71 or 7200 series magnums.reliable solid tractors. Nothing fancy to go wrong. 8.3 Cummins will easily make 12-15000 hrs.
We have three magnums here 7210, 7240 and 7250. None have 8000 hours on them yet and they aren't going anywhere. They are fabulous tractors, possible candidates for the best ever made! The 7250 has had a full overhaul on the front axle apart from that they have barely been touched in years. I am starting to think with a bit of work they will last for ever or at least until everyone stops making parts for them.

Can’t complain about that. What are used values like on them, have they gone mad yet?

I think my budget is about 20k, which rules out a lot of the stuff above. Wondering would a late model TM 190 be the most savvy purchase, if one could be got tidy and within budget. Can’t see it losing any money and a very capable tractor if I didn’t get one of the famously unreliable ones.

Didn’t they have a cooling issue if you plan putting it on stirring ??

They are still available here (I am in France) for 15 to 20K. Funny though the New Holland TM has a bad reputation over here and could be bought for quite a bit less than a similar houred Magnum.

Why not buy a Cat75E rubber tracked crawler. If it’s just going to sit there on PTO work you shouldn’t have issues with the tracks. Cheap as chips for the horsepower and about half the price of a secondhand loader tractor.

Simple - would prefer father not to take a heart attack just yet :ROFLMAO: Would love a Challenger all the same!!

I'm just thinking here. Do you have three phase?

Unfortunately not, just single. Not interested in lorry engines or anything that needs fabricating. Would just like a nice safe tractor purchase, which is as good as money in the bank.

Another left field suggestion here - can you use the PTO on a Fastrac sprayer without removing the sprayer? We don't need the 3 point linkage, just the power takeoff..
