The old camp was Heras fenced round with security present and they were in the process of evicting them from the wood in the OP. There must have been easily fifty security personnel plus police .

I'm no fan of HS2, just improve the current network. Whole thing a waste of money.

Does anybody really need to get anywhere a few minutes quicker?
Makes more sense to have extra coaches on existing trains so that everyone has a seat, and run more of these trains per day.
Is this theory totally unviable?
