What are my cows worth ?

You would have to check with the auctioneers but i do not think that is the case!

One of the auction company's above that went bust held a dispersal sale about 3 days before they went bang and the vendor lost the lot!
Think, as a direct result, that is why client acconts are now used for sizable sales

Can't see them making much money, low milk and no fats or protein, mate worked there and won't be going.
Was surprised on how low, surely this diet related? Could well be totally different herd of cows if dryed of and onto a suitable diet. I thought part of the point of cross breeding was to improve constituents. Am sure a lot of @Beef farmer cows are cross breds.

He won't of been gaining any extra from omsco paying bf+p payment for sure. Our Friesians are doing around the 5 bf mark mid 3p all winter, usually goes bit pear shape in the spring! Surely you wouldn't choose poor constituent genetic bulls to cross breed!

If the auction company's do that then they would have to make buyers pay into a different account to their normal weekly auctions so would end up causing massive problems when people who pay by Bacs etc pay the money into the wrong account either for the weekly or one off sale!

Really all the money from auction sales be that weekly or one off dispersal sales should be put into a ring fenced account.
