What are people feeding sucklers over winter?

I feed mine ad-lib haylage, with some cake, highish protein, energy/mineral and vitamin licks too. They do well on it until grass comes through. The calves are always housed through their first year, so they can grow bigger faster and not be held back. When on milk I give them high protein cake, ir highish rather, ad-lib and ad-lib haylage too :) they also get plenty of straw for bedding, I give them that as they tend to eat most of the fresh bedding I put down to them, the straw keeps good Wright on them and valences out their rumens too. Spring born calves get to go out all summer and are fed cake during that time, they mostly grow off the grass though...
