What are the best beef events to talk to farmers at?

Afternoon/Evening all, looking for a bit of advice from the TFF collective. We are advertising on TFF, but also really enjoyed Dairy-tech and will be heading to the Beef Expo in May, we were there last year and found it great. Lots of farmers who were open to new ideas and happy to talk.
What are the best beef events in the UK, especially the local one’s where we can meet farmers? Do you know of any other events with a good atmosphere? There are loads of good Dairy events but it seems to be hard to find a really good beef event.

Winter primestock shows - English winter fair, welsh winter fair, east of England, agri expo, several others, all tend to be in november

Agriscot in November would fall into this category.
Not a beef event as such but very livestock orientated with many trade stand holders up here reporting it as their best event of the year in terms of follow up enquiries and sales.

Like others have said the only beef only technical event would be Beef Expo in May. Otherwise it's the summer shows or the winter Primestocks ie. Agri-Expo (they also have the Dairy Expo in March), English Winter Fair, Welsh Winter Fair etc.
For the Midlands your best 2 summer shows for farmers are probably Ashover and Ashby.

Thanks @Whitepeak @Bojangles @Chae1 @Happy @hendrebc That's really useful information :):)

Another question, while I have your attention ;)

What type of stuff would grab your attention at a show? For instance, we bring a large touchscreen tv that allows farmers to demo our app. Do you think seeing something like this would be enough to grab your attention or is it a bit bland?

Can you also run your program on a desktop computer and use scanners to input passport data? Also what support do you offer to businesses switching over from competitor products in the way of transferring data from existing programs. I ask because as a long time Farmplan cattle manager user I like the program very much and am very familiar with it BUT I have been asking for years about a mobile version so I can carry my animal records with me without printing out reams of paper to take to the crush with me. If your program offers the usability as CM with the mobile aspect I wouldn’t hesitate to switch but the loss of historic data would be a shame.

Was just saying to my brother yesterday it's about time we have a cloud based system for cattle records same as we have for cropping software.

Shearwell etc have been slow to adopt this.

Scantily clad hot women would grab my attention at a show.

Free demos off app? So can download it and play with it for a month's trial or something. Same as you can do with glgm.

Salespeople who will actually get off their arses and speak to people would be a massive help. I get fed up at shows trying to find someone to ask a question to and see the sales reps all sat down in their caravan or tent ignoring everyone who are clearly interested in their stuff. Some get off their arses when you ask them something and might answer your questions others just fob you off with a leaflet and send you on your way. Some wont even do that. Rant over :):censored:
