50%. Some sort of ear/throat infection going on and feel tired. Trying to sort the sheds and machinery out in the run up to harvest. Junk, scrap and clutter everywhere. Can’t move. But can’t think of anything that I can do without other than “all of it”.
Anyway as Mark Twain said “the secret to getting ahead is getting started.”
Filled the mower with petrol yesterday morning, mouse had been at the pipe. That and a few other problems with it and I finally started on the lawns at 7 pm. Finished by 9.
Need to split my Renault and start on the transmission problem soon. Don’t even know where the problem is. Rim to weld as well. It’s hanging over me and making me grumpy. Would one year without a major breakdown be too much to ask? Up to date on field work. New sprayer needs some welding and a few new roof sheets needed on TVs grain store. Onwards and upwards. Could be worse. Could be better.

100% for me these days👍😊

And your posts reminds me of yet another thing to be great full for...

Some years back, we had an 8210 with twin wheel. Well, the twin wheel had torn the actual tractor wheel but it had a tube so wasn’t leaking. Ah, “I’m in a rush, I’ll just weld it as it is”. Which is what I did - didn’t know the risk of it at all. No bang anyway👍

Me ? . I take each day as a bonus , but if I HAD to say - about 90 same as my age ! But , whilst living alone has a few disadvantages , it also has many pro's too , like I only have myself to please , it's nobody's business but mine what I do , or indeed , when I do it . I look out of my office window , and the daffodils are at an end now , but I have a nice show of bluebells , a few primulas , and what I laughingly call my lawn is growing grass apace , which might bother some , but I had an escapee BB ¾ grown heifer grazing it last night . Quite made my day ! Plenty of good things if you look !

i think this is great, when you see some one in persson they ask how you are, on here unless you post a new tractor or epic failure no one knows how you are feeling on a day.

and whilst its an opportunity to be negative, its is also the opportunity to use the old adage "a problem shared is a problem halved" (unless its covid-19)

How do I feel today

My wife starts her treatment for the big C today
So in the scheme of things sod all else matters
The track of my digger
Constant rain again
Nearly lampooned myself with a silage tine
My bike looks like its had a stroke
But sod it all I'm smiling through it [emoji23]

Good luck to Mrs Hughes............. I hope it ends well for you both.

Always someone worse off than yourself. Best wishes to your mrs and you’re right sod all matters. We may think we have something to moan about but most of the time we really haven’t.

Blimey I rarely fall below 75 % and then only for a few minutes. Luckily I'm an eternal optimist, crops beginning to move now, spring drilling really moved on over the wknd, grass no longer brown, gradually getting the farm up together and having some time off. Great wife and family off to help daughter build a dressing room wed and Thursday which will be great as didnt see her for several years when I divorced, would never know know, just goes to show how things can and do improve over time.
Only downer is bad back at the moment
