I would like to fix my rotowiper up, everything is good on it but the nozzles have cracked or broke off, but I can't find replacements, does anybody know where I would find some?Stripping down the Rotowiper to replace all the pipework. After the 3rd fracture I decided it needed wholesale renewal rather than bodging it on.
It's a 28 year old TR18.
Surely any good spray shop would be able to match something up if you supply a sample? A couple of mine are dribbling instead of spraying but they still "work" so they'll keep for now.I would like to fix my rotowiper up, everything is good on it but the nozzles have cracked or broke off, but I can't find replacements, does anybody know where I would find some?
Looking good, are you going to put some rubber matting in the pit as well?Work progressing nicely on our new to us parlour
Yes after the fibre glassing on the pit wall is completeSurely any good spray shop would be able to match something up if you supply a sample? A couple of mine are dribbling instead of spraying but they still "work" so they'll keep for now.

The crown wheel and pinion are a matched pair you replace them both together. Take note of where all the shims are when take it apart the backlash on the pinion is quite important if you want it to last.Spent the afternoon dismantling my rake. I'm sure it would be easy if you knew what your doing but I spent a lot of time scratching my head and swearing.... Will be easy if I ever need to do it again though.
The knocking was coming from inside the gearbox as it turned out. The bolts holding the gearbox together had opened so the cogs were slipping and the teeth on the smaller cog have broken quite badly....
someone been inside it before I had it a lot of bolts looked like they had been opened and roll pins looked like they had been knocked etc. They must not have tightened the bolts on the gearbox properly then sold it. Ffs
I'll loctite them when I put it back together. Hopefully it only needs the small cog and I can get away without changing the big one it doesn't look too bad. I'll take it to get someone who knows what they're talking about to look at it tomorrow.

My run of breakdowns continues as well. Clutch gone on my loader tractor so going to make a start splitting that tomorrow. Borrowed a splitting rail off my father in law so should be a lot easier than pissing about with a trolley jack. Not done a 4wd tractor before, or one this big so.... how hard can it be
Thanks. Mote expense than I was hoping for thenThe crown wheel and pinion are a matched pair you replace them both together. Take note of where all the shims are when take it apart the backlash on the pinion is quite important if you want it to last.
Not so good, what model?Father in law came to help split my loader tractor today. Glad he did it would have been a bitch of a job on my own it wouldn't come apart and he took the clutch cover off through the gap under the inspection plate while I turned the flywheel with a tyre lever to get at all the bolts holding it on. Clutch plate might have seen better days no wonder it wouldn't move. Shaft looks f**ked as well need to figure out how that comes out now and is probably why it was stuck together. 895. Things like that are to be expected I suppose it's done a lot of hours by now. Not sure exactly but it must be nearly 12,000hrs. It's going to have a few other bits changed while we're at it it no reason it shouldn't do another 12,000Not so good, what model?

895xl very good guess!Looks like a 885xl or similar.
The outer shaft is driven by the pressure plate to drive the pto and hydraulics.
Dead easy to change, remove the clutch release yoke, and the cross shaft which operates it.
3 bolts and the outer cover comes off, then the shaft simply pulls out.
It's a while since I've done one, and I can't remember if there is a circlip or not, but the outer shaft is an easy swap.
895xl very good guess!
Thank you that's very helpful i wad going to spend a chunk of tomorrow on YouTube trying to work it out but I might just have a go now that sounds easy enough.
