What car/truck takes 3 child seats in back?

Have never used the isofix with any of our kids, always had the permanent "bases" that you secure with the seat belt. Then the chair clicks in/out, and does same with the pushchair. So you don't have to keep moving/strapping up the baby

We much prefer iso fix, it’s easy, convenien, safe and you can’t go wrong. Less than two minute job to move seat from car to car etc, no need to thread a belt through and around etc and check and double check and look at the sticker etc etc. We have a Kia Sportage and an Audi A4. two adults can sit in back of the Kia with one seat still in place but its a bit too tight a fit in the Audi due to location of the iso fix further in from the door. A friend has a Merc ML and they can’t fit an Adult inbetween their two seats

We’ve got a xc 60 and it has the family pack on it which basically means the outside 2 seat have built in booster cushions, so the eldest sits on the and uses the normal seatbelt. When the middle lad is big enough he will sit at the other side and the youngest in the rear middle in his car seat.

It’s finding them S/H that’s the challenge but it’s getting easier with all the keep up with next door brigade on PCP

Multimac make a special bench multi child seat that will fit across the back seat of almost any car. We had their 3 seat version in our BMW i3 that is normally only a 2 seater in the back. Great quality and very safe. Quite expensive new but they can be found second hand. (Ours is now for sale).
Our other car is a Volvo XC90 which we’ve had for 10 years and takes the whole family + 5 bikes (including a tandem!) with ease.
The older it gets, the more I appreciate just how good the Volvo is.

Volvo family here. Never buying anything else now. (y) It's a consumer product that just works.

There is a Honda people carrier thing that will fit 3 in the back and 3 in the front. Not sure what it is called.

Buy a Volvo. Can't go wrong. Classier than the Germans and cheaper to run.

Pop to the Nissan dealership at Wellington. My mate had exactly this problem, I cannot remember which model but it was the larger one than the duke he ended up with. They looked after him there aswell

Not read the thread but seat Alhambra is what I have.
Absolute dad car!
But it's soo practical. 7 seats but the rear fold completely flat leaving a massive boot.
For transportation of big stuff all seats except the front two can go completely flat and you get a massive space. And it takes seconds to alter them.

Sliding doors are also great for small spaces in car parks.

We looked at alternatives and could not get close to it for the space it offers.

Edit I moved a frestanding bath, toilet, basin, pedistal and radiator this morning and had loads of room spare.

X-Trail isn't much wider and is now basically a longer Qashqai with seven seats. It's about Honda CR-V size.

No idea then. But I know he had to change his bmw because they couldn’t get 3 seats across the back and ended up with one of them. As said previously the op would be better to check with Nissan if it definitely was an xtrail. Either way Nissan solved this issue for them and they ended up with it

thats what i told my wife. Two kids means you can have cool cars. Three means you have very expensive big cool cars, Four means you buy a mini bus!

If the new Rexton drives as well as its looks and features suggest, then they really do have a winner there. The only blot on the landscape is that they are currently under administration in Korea. Plus they are not British. At half to two thirds the price of a Discovery, which is also foreign built, what can you do?

Went from a Audi A6 allroad which I loved but not big enough for 3 kids apparently, to a merc v250 which was very complex and unreliable with lots of expensive available only from mercedes parts needed. To a vw transporter shuttle which is a big hit with the kids and the misses loads of room for prams, bikes, etc. Surprisingly nice to drive and good on fuel.
