we usually disc the stubbles and spin on turnips with a spinner on the quad or front of tractor, and have burnt off grass and discs it with the ripper legs but it was still rough and managed to spin on the stubble turnips with the quad while hanging on ! was thinking got to be an easier way without splashing £30k plus on a drill , any ideas? we do 50 od acres a year and would be handy to stich in clover . been googloing a bit but lot of the older drills would they sown stubble turnips down to 1.5kg acre or 3.75kg in new money !!!!

You think it would scratch good enough into stubbles ?
Not a chance without a good bit of tillage first

Did a neighbour's 20 acres of forage rape with my einbock this year. He'd just power harrowed the burnt off stubble and given it a roll

Wasn't the smoothest to drive on and seed definitely slower to get away (uneven depth I reckon) but he's a good crop growing now

Now as nice as my ploughed one though 🙄
