How much ?
To be honest I haven’t priced any yet. Ekochute are made about an hour from here but I’m not aware of anyone local with one so I’d just like a few reviews. In my mind the front foot lift is a better design than the wooden block type setup that a lot of crushes use. Cowcare systems are the other local option

Dragging up this old thread instead of starting a new one. Has anyone any experience or opinions about a ekochute hoof trimming crush?
Had ours for nearly12 months. Very pleased.
Back bar completely revolutionises crush loading.

We looked at them at the Dairy Tech shows, they looked good, simple and robust but I am a little confused as they claim to be made in Ireland but there is also a Dutch website with the same crush and the videos on the Ekochute website are (I think ) in Dutch.

When ordering coronavirus was obviously an issue. I was ringing Ireland and he was walking around assembly whilst talking and giving me measurements There was an issue with pressing and galvanising a few brackets and that was then done in house and then galvanised

Shouldn't be allowed to buy one without having attended a physical training course!

Any animal treatment you should have training and be assessed by someone proficient not just watched YouTube!

You shouldn't have cows without being able to do basics of a foot.
A proper crush has got to be better for cow and owner than an Ai pen and a couple ropes.

I agree 100%

Know a guy who has just started keeping cattle who has vet in for all animal husbandry tasks for the first time and get instructions

Saturday with manflu and on one’s self, along with the front foot holder snapping has encouraged a business decision. Any up to date thoughts not covered here already? Tia
