Why not? If he is actually stopping you going out then you need to get out of the fast! Or is it you to tired to go out?
When we were kids we were told to go upstairs whenever my mum's family came around, he's told us if we ever got married the farms being sold, by the time milking is done it's not far off bedtime to be up at 5.30
It has all become the norm to never go anywhere to keep the peace.

This is not normal though it is. You are the same age as me and my parents haven’t cared what I did past the age of 16! Even the promise of a farm wouldn't keep be from being out try get get girls. I get up at 4 7 days a week and still manage to go out at least twice and week, once with the misses and once with mates.

Labour exploitation

1 Victims exploited for multiple purposes in isolated environments Victims who are often highly vulnerable are exploited for labour in multiple ways in isolated rural locations. Victims live on offenders' property in squalid conditions, are subject to repeated abuse and are very rarely paid.

2 Victims work for offenders Victims are forced to work directly for offenders in businesses or sites that they own or control (some offenders may be gangmasters). The main method of exploitation is not paying or illegally underpaying victims.

3 Victims work for someone other than offenders Victims are employed in a legitimate and often low‑skilled job, with legal working conditions, by an employer unrelated to the offenders. Most or all wages are taken by offenders often through control of the victims' bank accounts. Domestic servitude

4 Exploited by partner Victims are forced to undertake household chores for their partner and often their partner's relatives. If married, the marriage may have been arranged or forced and the servitude often occurs alongside domestic abuse and sexual exploitation.

5 Exploited by relatives Victims live with and exploited for household chores and childcare by family members, usually extended family. Many victims are children.

6 Exploiters not related to victims Victims live with offenders who are often strangers. Victims are forced to undertake household chores and are mostly confined to the house. Sexual exploitation

7 Child sexual exploitation – group exploitation Children are sexually exploited by groups of offenders. This is usually for personal gratification, but sometimes the exploitation involves forced sex work in fixed or changing locations and will include characteristics of types 9 and 10. Offenders frequently transport victims to different locations to abuse them.

8 Child sexual exploitation – single exploiter Similar to type 7, often involves the grooming of children and transporting them for the purposes of sexual exploitation, although the offending is carried out by one individual.

9 Forced sex work in fixed location Victims are trafficked and exploited in established locations set up specifically for sex work. This can include brothels or rooms in legitimate business premises (e.g. massage parlour).

10 Forced sex work in changing location Victims are forced into sex work where the location of exploitation frequently changes. Locations include streets, clients' residence, hotels or 'pop‑up' brothels in short‑term rented property. Victims are frequently advertised online.

11 Trafficking for personal gratification Victims are trafficked to residential sites controlled by offenders and sexually exploited for the offenders' own gratification. Some victims may be confined to the site for a long period of time. T

Working every day from 6am until 8pm is taking a toll on me now, I feel exhausted all the time.
You have a choice and don’t let anyone tell you other wise. You are treated terrible by someone that is supposed to care your only option is to walk away if some told me I couldn’t marry/have a partner is not worth your time.

Time to get out from there, then go and see a solicitor and see if you have a case for claiming. A lot of solicitors will do a one hour initial consultation to start for free. As more comes out it gets harder to believe but you never know!!
Still can't believe the money leant for the vending machine :scratchhead:
Does he treat the sister and mother the same way?

This is not necessarily a wind up. If this is your 'normal' from childhood, trying to breakaway becomes nigh on impossible, where do you go? who do you know and trust to help you? Your lack of self-esteem and the guilt that you will feel by breaking away can paralyse you.

Id choose a wife/partner and children over inheriting part of a farm. But if your already 30 and don't have masses of social skills because you haven't left the farm in 15 years then it might be a bit tricky.

If he needs/wants to come here for support why stop him? This could be the biggest decision of his life or at least the hardest thing he may ever do, so why turn your back on him?

Yes and no. If what is stated is true then (in my opinion) support of the type he requires needs a level of discretion and close interaction and that's not something to be done publically in an open forum.

You could stack shelves at the supermarket and earn more, meet other young people and explore the wider world. I'm not saying you should do this or that it would be an easy life change to make but I suspect it would be good for you.

these issues you have not will not go away and will eat at you from the inside and destroy your life with resentment and hate.

@Rob91 please keeping posting here if that is what you wish to do. If the anonymity of posting here helps then please carry on. Maybe it will help to clarify what you want to do about your situation and what you want for your future.
There are people and organisations that can help you , remember, you are not wrong for wanting a life and happiness for you.

Absolutely this - and with hindsight my earlier post was a bit harsh. Of course he should stay posting here, but he also needs to do more, IMHO, as this forum alone will most likely not get him to his better place.
