What do you eat for lunch

A bit late to the party here, but if sandwiches work for you then stick with sandwiches, maybe just try to reduce the calories of them (only a bit of butter, lean ham/chicken, lettuce/tomato to fill you up). Everything is fine for you as part of a balanced diet. Assuming you’re trying to lose weight, the only thing that will make you lose weight is being in a calorie deficit (eating less calories than you need)
Personally I have chicken, rice and veg with a yoghurt and two cereal bars. super easy for me and I like it.
I do online PT as a side job. If you’re wanting to learn more about nutrition and fat loss then feel free to shoot me a message where I can help or follow my Instagram. @Mattnoquetfitness

A baked potato cold, baked day before. A couple of slices of cold beef lathered in horseradish source. Some spinach leaves. 2 large slices of Christmas cake. Coffee.

Yesterday, beef and rice and 2 large slices of Christmas cake.

We like to do a roast on Sunday and the meat takes us well into the week. This Sunday we roasted a 4lb H bone piece of shorthorn beef which is excellent, kindly given to us by a neighbour for Christmas. It should last myself and the Mrs till Wednesday, then it will be pheasant breast again, wrapped in garlic and bacon and lathered in butter done for half an hour in the oven. There is enough in the freezer to last us till Easter eating it ioncena week. The shooting syndicate keep dropping them in.
We are the same live on pheasant probably twice a week needs some fat bacon or the like round it as it can be dry though

I do a simple version of Atkins plus 5 and 2.
Try making up a diet that contains no potatoes, pasta, rice, bread or sugar.
Very difficult but just shows you the things that you should avoid.
I have 2 slices of toast for breakfast Monday to Friday with butter, marmalade or jam very sparingly, Salad along with either herring fillets (lidl) or ham or beef with light mayonaise for lunch.
At night meat and egg or stir fry etc.
If you really want to lose weight then do 12 days straight.
If your willpower isn't that good then 5 weekdays followed by eating anything and everything Saturday Sunday.
Weekend something to look forward to. A friend of mine used to eat a Mars Bar at lunch every day so I presented him with 7 on the Saturday and said get them down you. Only managed 3. I said that's the amount of crap you eat all week.
What you will find is the more salad you eat, and don't scrimp on the lettuce etc with mayo to make it edible, you will find your stomach shrinks.
Best I have managed is 2kg a week but at that you need to take a piece of cheese with you to consume at the point you want to eat the lining off the door of the vehicle. I also keep a packet of Fruit Gums in the bag so that if your sugars start to drop when you are driving put one under your tongue to keep you awake and alert.
My weight was 13st 13lb when I returned from the Canaries in February now 13st 2lb which brings my BMI to 24.7.
Intend to get down to 12st 12lbs before I go on my Europe tour on 1st June,if shutdown ends and planes fly, to leave a bit of space for good food and lots of beer. Its all to do with willpower if you feel hungry be positive you are losing weight its your body telling you. First thing you notice is your chins will start to shrink then the bingo wings. The hardest bit is the love handles over your kidneys. That requires real willpower.
I weigh myself every Tuesday, no alcohol on a Monday. Be careful if you like salt or consume foods with salt in them as your body keeps sodium in the correct dilution so if you eat something salty then your weight may increase however only temporarily till you flush it out.
For women do not weigh yourself at your time of the month as your hormones do all manner of weird things to with water retention etc.

I’ve probably got the most unhealthy diet going, bacon and sausage for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and eat evening meal at 9ish most night due to coming in late and having kids etc.
id say I’m fit can run after sheep and cycle etc don’t stop from 7am till 8.30/9 pm 7 days a week don’t drink or smoke but could do with losing some bulk.
6‘3 and 20 stone but wouldn’t say I look fat etc just stocky.
bloody hard going when you’ve got a sweet tooth tho!!

Nothing wrong with most of the fry up. Skip the sausage its bread (carbs) in disguise. During the five days of the week avoid the bread potatoes and sugary stuff. Then at the weekend stuff yourself full of crap. Amazingly you will lose weight. Not saying your not fit but carrying all that meat around is stressing your heart especially when chasing sheep.
It's easy when you put your mind to it and only weigh yourself on a Tuesday after no alcohol Monday plus avoid anything salty as your body holds water to dilute it.
I haven't been doing anything daft food wise, salads and fish for lunch and am now down to 13st 1lb at 6'1" or thereabouts. <25BMI
In winter you need some carbs to keep warm but do 2 and 5. Low carbs 2 days and eat what you like 5 days and you will not gain weight. Try it costs nothing.

Flask of coffee or bottle of water depending on the time of year, 4 or 5 items of fruit and have recently started taking whole unpeeled carrots , can munch away on them for ages. I should be ten stone but the evening feasts have me closer to 16!

Pork Pie if I can. Local butcher closed 9 months back so now often eggs and bread based. Wifey just started doing her winter soups which are going down well.

It will of course vary according to what folk are doing but there can be health benefits for many of us for skipping lunch. Particularly for those of us who are 'just' sat in machines.

Human beings were not really designed to have 24/7 access to food....

im a bit of a fan of fasting & missing meals, myself.
I like to have oats or something filling for breakfast, maybe an apple or banana for smoko & lunch is usually a cup of black tea & maybe a muesli bar. Even spending all day in a tractor etc, that’s pretty much what I do. I find boredom is the worst for “snacking”, especially if sat in a cab. I just make do with plenty of water & black tea 👍

I cam miss meals quite readily, no idea how. I eat more if I am at work though. Boredom is one thing that encourages me to eat a lot, too.
