What do you eat for lunch

I will try this tomorrow.
Good food is wasted on me, eating to me is just another job to stop the hunger to get on with life. I’m never fussy, can’t stand picky eaters.
And I eat fast, twice over Xmas at restaurants they give us our meal, ask if we want any sauces etc and by the time they come back I’ve eaten mine and have to sit and watch the weirdos pick and chew and faff for 20 mins!
I recently had a egg, curry and ham in a bowl at a buffet, people think I’m mad, just scoff it and get on with life!

I do enjoy good food, I just don’t mess around
U must be hard on the rennies!

A baked potato cold, baked day before. A couple of slices of cold beef lathered in horseradish source. Some spinach leaves. 2 large slices of Christmas cake. Coffee.

Yesterday, beef and rice and 2 large slices of Christmas cake.

We like to do a roast on Sunday and the meat takes us well into the week. This Sunday we roasted a 4lb H bone piece of shorthorn beef which is excellent, kindly given to us by a neighbour for Christmas. It should last myself and the Mrs till Wednesday, then it will be pheasant breast again, wrapped in garlic and bacon and lathered in butter done for half an hour in the oven. There is enough in the freezer to last us till Easter eating it ioncena week. The shooting syndicate keep dropping them in.

Sounds like you’d be happy with almost anything for lunch so long as you had your two large slices of Christmas cake!

I have found that the whole grain, low GI bread a good half way house . Also whole wheat wraps don’t make you carb crash in the afternoon but still offers the convenience of a sandwich

Something I've turned to is spelt rice cakes with peanut butter. stores fine, quick to prepare, eat on the go.. dropped 1/2 stone in one week already.
1/2 stone in one week?! Did you eat ANYTHING that week. That kind of weight is EXTREMLEY hard to do with dieting and exercise.
