Debadging a car doesn't make it a sleeper, you can tell an Audi a mile off same with de badged vauxhaulls, you need a car which people don't have a clue about! people think my cars a micra and I go only with it and it's great to get round them and they read the badge on the back GTIR or GTR, I've embarrassed a couple for high end german cars 2016 V6 Audi TT / Porsche Boxster flat 6 and recently 3.0 twin turbo BMW with 30 year old rusty jap cars ?
Think you can do the same with a old 80's VL Commodore with a RB30.....

Don't know what kind of roads you have, but 112 is airborne on my roads.

There's too many cars on the roads and too many speed cameras to enjoy a properly fast car these days. Some still get out and about at 4am on a Sunday morning in the summer, but most people I knew with fast cars ended up doing a lot of trackdays and keep things very sensible on the public highway. This last few years it's even worse with all the dashcams and Facebook local groups who will organise a witch hunt. I bet it's a similar story with the motorbikes. It used to sound like an F1 event on a Sunday the main road nearest here, but average speed cameras now and not a peep.
