Flies about now, ive tried a few types over the years, but have stuck with spoton, find that it needs repeating a few times through the season, more so in rainy weather, or thats what increases the flie burdon? I would love to see some sort of trial with all types of fly control from types you pour on the animal, to buckets, never used, to ear tags? Comments please and whats your experience advice etc?

Spoton or spotinor here, choice based on price and availability. We tend to need 1 - 3 applications per year to each cow and calf group, only treating the cows though and mostly through gateways as we move paddocks.

Downland Zermasect 2 or 3 times over the summer and garlic in the lick buckets seems to work here.

And we have a lot of flies due to woodland and river frontage. Other place has less flies and garlic works ok on it's own.
