What form of N to use?

Wouldn't buy a blend unless you want stripy fields. Been there. We use AN only on last pass as we found protein dropped on wheat with urea all the way through.

This is what I am thinking. Not quite fair trial last year but the Crusoe had its last split as AN whereas the Cordiale had it as urea. I rate Cordiale as a protein builder but 50% of the grain was 12.5% prot or lower, whereas the Crusoe was all over 13% which is a big difference in £££ in the bank. Especially since the end user is unhappy with foliar late N.

I can see the two products may spread slightly differently, but surely they would still cover the ground evenly if the spreader is working correctly?
AS and Urea have a completely different spreading pattern and needed different settings on our spreader. If you can make it work then great. We couldn't and had embarrassing stripes. Now only ever buy a compound 39.0.0.19.

I would stick with liquid Joe, home mix to reduce cost if necessary.
Also agree with Static and Andy you want AN for best proteins in milling wheats
