What grant providers have you used for trials?

Dear All,

I run a small lab in Hampshire where we are developing the elusive soil food web inoculum.

We completed a validation trial on spring barley this year with very limited resources, and it's encouraging enough for us to begin signing up clients for commercial trials for the next year.

Please see attached write up of the barley trial.

We're now starting a winter wheat trial on 5 hectares here in Hampshire.

What we need to know is what grants are there available across the country to help farmers like you with the costs of these trials? What grant providers have you worked with before?

Thank you

Daniel

If you are confident in your product send it to NIAB and ADAS for independent trialling?

If it works well you will soon make sales
It's possible to do that as long as we control the supply chain. Our product currently needs to be treated as a perishable item. We also believe in doing trials in the real world, competing with the farmer's system rather than hidden in the corner of Rothamsted or Cranfield. We've been working with some researchers from Reading and Sheffield to ensure transparency. It's still a great idea though, thank you.

Got a perfect 5ha field here for you. I’ll do it for only £6,000.
