Sat Nav "ditherers".... obviously waiting for their phone/sat nav to tell them to be in the required lane.

WHAT ABOUT THE FUDGING GREAT SIGNS YOU AREN`T LOOKING AT??? :banghead::banghead::mad::mad::mad:

Particularly at the A50/M1 "new junction" layout.

J24 ? Sorry but its become a monstrosity, with roadworks and without clear signage. Coming south to get off for a453 completely missed exit and had to continue to 23. I was in blinking bad books I can tell you as apparently my fault we missed the new exit off. Stoney silence rest of way home.

I`m guessing its improved since your misfortune. :)
To go South to A453 & M1 (S) ,across the new bit ,it now has clearly marked lanes. However the lady in the X5 in front of me appeared to be trying a new style of zig zag driving between the two! After she committed to the M1 South I filtered in behind her.
She was then braking from 40mph and certainly not concentrating on driving .......so I overtook and glanced across and she was giving her phone/sat nav "finger stabs" like it was wrong. :ROFLMAO:

The " ten miles of terror" which is the M5 from Worcester to the M42! Travelled the new(to me) four lane bit , and spent the time praying no one broke down in front and that I didnt either. With the traffic any sudden breakdown was almost certain to result in a major accident, there is just nowhere to go, and who was the twerp who thinks you can push your vehicle around two miles to a "refuge"!

fallow brain more like! He/she/it needs to take a broad look at life. For example we wage unremitting war on micro organisms which are detrimental to human existence, often destroying the method of transference, where that is possible. We destroy mosquitoes to reduce malaria. Where is the difference then between this and destroying badgers to reduce TB?

Back again................. Today I saw Leicester City Council employees diligently sweeping up leaves into heaps on New Walk, a lovely tree lined pedestrian walkway in the City. They then proceeded to shovel the leaves, possibly the most bio-degradable things laying on the pavement , into large plastic bags. I can only guess the bags will be taken away to somewhere and emptied out (I hope!) but it still creates dozens of wasted bags!! We don`t learn do we...............

This company has carved out a unique niche between producer and customer. Basically in order to supply into large multiples, you've to be "ethical", in order to be deemed "ethical" you fill out a vague tick box exercise and send them £40........oh, no it's £60.......no hang on, actually.......yup, just call it a round £100 a year.

And now amazingly, they recommend it'll be better for us as a company to send them £5k instead, give me strength.

Would bring it up at the agm, but it's in Kuala Lumpur [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Must be a hard life being so ethical!!

I am not a political animal, but this is grinding my gears - a rule for one and ignore the other...

A clampdown on cheats who dishonestly claim free prescriptions will be part of a new drive to save the NHS in England £300 million a year.
Rogue pharmacists and dentists who cheat the health service will also be targeted by the NHS’s counter-fraud team.
The new approach, announced by Health and Social Care Secretary Matt Hancock, will start with a pledge to halve prescription fraud, which costs the NHS £256 million annually.

Now I do not have time for people who deliberately cheat the system, but research has shown that most people who claim free prescriptions do it in error, thinking they are eligible.

More than 800,000 NHS patients in England were found to be overpaying on prescriptions last year because they were unaware of how Prescription Prepayment Certificates (PPC) work.

Compair and contrast with this.

So there is a law there to stop the drug companies ripping off the NHS, but they are not being used.
It is easier to pick on the poor person who needs medical help and cannot afford the three things on their prescription, so ticks a box. Nothing at all to do with the drug companies having important people on the board, and who have no scruples about causing people to be ill as they cannot get the drugs they need.

My gears are well and truly gnashing!

What grinds your gears ,blow your top, makes your blood boil, fly off the handle, blow a fuse etc.

Well, since you ask... f*cking idiots driving on the roads with hoods over their heads!

Bringing my little girl back from a party in the next valley this evening, some little tw*t driving what I thought was a JD6130 pulled right out in front of me from a side lane. I managed to break enough but still had my nose in the hedge when I stopped and the car behind stopped to check we were alright and congratulate me on missing him.

He carried on across the road and down the opposite lane as if nothing had happened. This irked me, I wasn't going fast and had my lights on, so he had no excuse. Being irritated I followed, flashing him and after half a mile he pulled into a gateway to let me pass. I did and then pulled across the lane to allow me tutor him in the ways of righteousness.

Imagine my surprise when I opened his cab door for him and found that he had earphones in and a bl**dy hood over his head. He claimed he never saw me, :banghead:, but was very, very, very apologetic*. By great good fortune I recognised the tractor from the 'decorations' inside and will be having a chat with his boss a.s.a.p..

Little tw*t! What if he had gone into my girl's side of the car? I am astonished that I managed to control myself.

Rant over, but still fuming...

*probably because I was very, very, very angry.
