Got a call from my mum tonight and 63 sheep grazing a new ley in front of her house were being attacked by a Labrador.time I appeared most of the sheep,61 in fact were in her garden.this was about 6pm.called the owners and finally got them in by 7.15 in the dark.owner dissapeared but will be getting a visit.my mum caught him but he could not help as his daughter who was with him might get her shoes dirty.no apology for the dog either.luckily no animals hurt but really spooked.i really sympathise with others who have had animals injured or worse.these dog owners are C U Next Tuesday with an S on the end

On my new tractor you have to hold the pto switch for 5 seconds if you want it to stay on when your out the cab that’s slightly annoying but it’s not the annoying part
When I’m filling the slurry tanker even tho I’ve already held the switch if my terrier jumps on an off the seat which she does to watch were I’m going it knocks the fecking pto off again

Things that slow me down when trying to get on with the drilling.

The TGW isn't printed on the seed label, (probably because it's so low I would have refused to accept delivery if I'd known it before unloading).
I can't find the drill winding handle.
The fuel filler nozzle has developed a serious leak where it joins the hose.
The phone keeps ringing.
I can't undo the knot under the seed bag which has 50,000 granny knots on it.
It looks like I'll run out before finishing.

Tractor fuel tank filler necks at head height up the back corner of the tractor that you can't get at when an implement is attached that splutter and blow back if you fill them at anything more than a trickle and get caked in sand and crap. e.g. On David Brown 1494. What bright spark thought that was good idea?

Buying stuff from Amazon. They used to show delivery date alongside the item you were perusing, now you click to buy to find your water pump hose is coming from China via the Gobi desert by camel train and will take five weeks, meanwhile the free delivery you thought you were getting has disappeared as the goods cost £19.50 and "free delivery" only applies for £20 or more.

Well, since you ask... f*cking idiots driving on the roads with hoods over their heads!

Bringing my little girl back from a party in the next valley this evening, some little tw*t driving what I thought was a JD6130 pulled right out in front of me from a side lane. I managed to break enough but still had my nose in the hedge when I stopped and the car behind stopped to check we were alright and congratulate me on missing him.

He carried on across the road and down the opposite lane as if nothing had happened. This irked me, I wasn't going fast and had my lights on, so he had no excuse. Being irritated I followed, flashing him and after half a mile he pulled into a gateway to let me pass. I did and then pulled across the lane to allow me tutor him in the ways of righteousness.

Imagine my surprise when I opened his cab door for him and found that he had earphones in and a bl**dy hood over his head. He claimed he never saw me, :banghead:, but was very, very, very apologetic*. By great good fortune I recognised the tractor from the 'decorations' inside and will be having a chat with his boss a.s.a.p..

Little tw*t! What if he had gone into my girl's side of the car? I am astonished that I managed to control myself.

Rant over, but still fuming...

*probably because I was very, very, very angry.
Have you spoken to the boss yet

Driving almost six hours for nothing.

It was a sale I have never been to before, as I had a hunch that it might not be as good as advertised so I would always go to something else. Today confirmed my theory - it sucked.
