Went to get fuel, but only £30 because I can’t use the business card as the account is locked due to recent fraud (FFS), also I hate the jerks at fuel stations that just put small amounts in, just fill up and feck off, so today I was one of the jerks.
I put £35 in and pay on my credit card, declines, ring up and I haven’t paid my bill from October! £37.50! Pay that with my personal card but the credit card won’t work until it’s cleared tomorrow, can’t use my personal card to pay for the fuel as I don’t know the pin code, it’s over £30 so contactless won’t work.
The gf has to come and rescue me

Just spent 15 minutes on the phone getting a new contract for my landline. Right until the end I was assured it was BT which was talking to me about renewing my current one. Only right at the end of the conversation do I discover I'm talking to a different telecom co.. I said no thanks.
This seems to happen again and again. If a co. starts off by lying to get my business, don't they understand that there is no way I would deal with them then.
The first episode, I agreed the new contract and the next thing was getting a letter from BT asking if I 'was' leaving them. I wrote back and told them I had been conned.

Can you report the behavior to Ofcom?

I suspect BBC Watchdog would be interested as well.

Parcel delivery company who send a text telling me they couldn't deliver my parcel 5 minutes after tearing off down the lane, having not even bothered to drive in to the farmyard where I was busy only 20 metres from the house.

Why cant they send a text 5 minutes before they arrive if they need a signature. I have told them time and again to just leave it at the back door and written a notice there to that effect on a huge sign with my mobile number on it. So they photographed the sign and ……… fecked off with my parcel. We have no neighbours within 2 miles. What a waste of time.

My Mrs insisting I push the boy In his push chair around all the stupid craft tents at the Royal Welsh winter fair instead of standing outside. They were rammed and every Tom dick and Harry decides to step in front of the push chair just as you want to manoeuvre. :banghead::banghead:

Clip a couple of them with the wheels, they soon pay attention then.

Receiving calls from "BT" saying they are working with the National Crime Agency and have been monitoring my internet use :(:(
Does this mean TFF towers is about to be raided ?
Scam - absolute nonsense. No one with the rights to see your records warns you they are coming. It is an interesting approach to conning people out of their money. If you want to play along then I suggest that you could have good fun bidding them up. :) @Paddington

Rear fog lights in the rain.
I've effectively done a lap of the M25 this evening, and everyone is going along fine in the rain until you come across some numpty firmly sat in the middle lane doing 10mph slower than everyone else, blinding everyone behind them with a foglight reflecting off every wet surface.

In the last week I've followed a car and an artic with their REVERSING lights on. I flagged down the car and pointed it out to driver. She said she was in a hurry and would take it to garage tomorrow. I hope she got pulled up.
The wagon driver just thought I was a nutter and carried on.
I was just trying to save them from getting nicked for showing a white light to rear.

Had my reversing camera come on several times on the M1 when doing about 50mph in one of the coned sections. First thought was my reversing lights had come on but no one was flashing me, it's a wireless type so there must be a few frequency sources alongside the motorway.

Digging to find why I couldn't get the rods up a land drain from the dirch when the water fountained out of the ground 20 feet into the field last winter.

Found this in the bottom of my exploratory trench. Closer and careful digging revealed a 6 inch blue hp water main laid directly across the land drain exactly in line with it. The previous tenant didn't care I suppose.
