No, the correct reply is "have I done/said something wrong"? May as well find out what it is in the first place and clear the air......or suffer the silent treatment for a day or two. :D

No, it is 'something' usually something you have said/done or not said/not done. :D

I guarantee you that it’s something I haven’t done, but we are still on the sharp answer of “nothing “ this morning.

Correct reply in that scenario is “good”

Then you can unmute the rugby and carry on watching.

I find putting the match on pause so you don’t miss the action in this situation puts my wife in more of a stinker.

The old “the games more important is it“ gives me the giggles!

Feedback after buying online. No sooner has the item been delivered than the company or ebay, Amazon etc want to know what you think of it. Don't normally bother except if the product is really good or bad.
We've bought a TV and a set of kitchen knives in the last few months. Spent awhile looking at different makes and delivery times, also feedback comments which were very good. The knives never turned up after several months despite the company (French) and Amazon saying they had the matter in hand, in fact several sets were allegedly sent out but we never received them and finally cancelled the order. The TV was not as advertised as regards facilities, the picture average and sound lousy, after weeks of dispute we got a different make.
So very negative feedback given to Argos and Amazon which does not appear on their website. Wonder how many other customers will end up buying the same products in the future thinking they are 5* ?

I recently went to the doctor's surgery for my annual MOT . The day afterwards I got a text from them headed "satisfaction survey" How likely is it that you would recommend this practise to your friends in need of similar treatment , 1 = very likely etc. Yerss, right , next time I have a mate requiring such treatment , i'll say " Right Joe, if you need this , I can't recommend Drs----- highly enough , you should go there ! -not!

No 3 daughter and her man have just sorted out buying their first house, and we all know what that entails these days. Then this morning they are informed that the sellers have decided to pull out of the deal for unspecified reasons....mmmmm :scratchhead:. That's £450 worth of fees lost. Not sure if this is a common [or in fact legal] practice, but shameful behavior by the sellers especially after knowing the potential buyers.
IIRC, in Scotland a house deal is legally enforceable.
Happened again today :mad:. They were talking happily to the new vendors yesterday about moving in etc, and how they lost money on their previous deal and how bad it was, then this morning the vendors decide to pull out due to health reasons. By luck for some reason, the surveys had not started, so they should get their fees back...(y).

The NHS. Today it's been lost medical records and a three day wait for strong painkillers. You can ring the vets at 8.30 in the morning and pick up medication at 9am. If a ewe is down with unusual symptoms, you are not asked to leave it for a week before making an appointment in the following two weeks, if you are lucky, to see a vet.
Think the NHS should be run by vets.
Er, hang on I might get put down.:(

Putting animals down is a last resort by most vets....it means they will make no more money out of it. I think the way the NHS is ,they are 'putting us down' by stealth...how many times do you hear about illness diagnosis being too late due to inept decisions and then it's too late ..
I agree the NHS should be run by vets !
