Don't bin it, have a look on youtube for how to get zips working again. I had 2 good jackets that had zips that stopped working and fixed them both easily when you know how.Zips. £60 work coat purchased 2 weeks ago is in the bin because the Zip is an archaic invention in need of an upgrade
Don't worry you will probably find it the day after you buy a new one whilst looking for something else you have previously lostLosing stuff..... as of yesterday a decent expensive torch..... then it really bugs me for ages

When first Steam Engine was patented this tree was 50
When the Wright Brothers flew the first motorized plane this tree was 180
Now at aged 300 it was felled for a service road for HS2

A pal who knows his stuff reckons it's balloney and that tree is around 130 years old but still a waste for a flippin' train to save 15-20 minutesFinal insult for the tree is someone taking a dump on the stump...........
Went to replace the sprayer alternator belt. Thought it would be a nice Friday afternoon job finished by teatime. But no, the skid unit will have to come off to get the panel off behind the cab then work my way in from there.
There hasn’t been a job for a long while that didn’t mushroom into a couple of days lathered in oil and grease, require a special tool or some exotic sealant. Design for maintenance died out in 1970.
Good idea. The old one had worn right down then came off and managed to squeeze under the compressor drive belt and came off the end of the crankshaft. Replacing all the belts while I’m in there.Pop two on while you’re on wid job @DrWazzock & tie spare out of way
