Bloo"£$%^&*()_+y government web sites, Me and daughter nearly had ww3 in office TRYING to make head or tail about signing up for making vat digital. after hours of going Round and round and round and round on gov web sites to sign up for submitting vat digitaly, THINK we may have signed up but not sure. What a bunch of kno&b heads make these sites up???.these civil servants would not stand a chance of working in the real world. Instead of sacking 90k of them boris needs to get rid of most of them and just keep the few who are good at their jobs( yes, some are ok). WHY is there not simply a big green button to sign up.

My wife had the same problem, apparently we are not registered although everything has been going through ok for nearly a year. She finally spoke to somebody by phone who checked that it was indeed all working ok even though it has not got us registered. Utter madness, they need their paperwork inspected by the same b--gers that inspect farmers paperwork.

Tyre garages. Been waiting 45 mins now for one of the 2 guys here to put 2 new front tyres on my van. No one else here they are just wondering around aimlessly popping out side to smoke every 10 mins.

“Dog people” who think everyone should be as besotted with their hairy sh!t factory as they are.

At beach with kids yesterday and the carpark and first 20 yds of dunes absolutely reek of dog deposits nowadays.

We were digging on the wet sand making a castle and moat and (much to my wife’s hilarity) some sort of sausage dog group meet wanders right over the top of me and the boy. Would’ve been 50 to 60yds of clear sand and yet they tramp right over the top of us. Young lad was bitten on the face when younger so a bit nervous of dogs. Must’ve been 30 of them plus some other types, a boxer got him quite upset as it was right in his face but the owner laughed it off, “he’s alright, just tell him to go away”. On the 3rd visit I picked the f**king thing up and removed it. Cue lots of glaring and muttering and tooting of silly whistles ( which had absolutely no effect at all).

I really don’t think I was in the wrong.

Carefully storing the hayturner in the dry and finding that the birds have been using it as a toilet all winter.

Driving to Birmingham to take some wheels to be refurbished, only to have a fine come through the post for £60 for not paying the clean air zone. £8 a day apparently, I didn't fuc#ing know about this shite. To busy trying to navigate through the shitehole to see any signage.
You are not the only one to get caught out in the small B’ham Clean air zone.
In future beware the even smaller zone already active in Durham, the zone in Bath and the forthcoming zones in Bradford and Greater Manchester as well as the ULEZ in London.
Euro6 (AddBlue) vehicles generally don’t pay.

Why is it beyond the wit of road authorities to come together under one umbrella website for official road charges such as bridge and tunnel tolls and these CAZ charges using ANPR …..?

I sent a letter to Birmingham council, stating i was unaware of there clean air zone, i would of paid if i had known about it, told them you can,t demand money (fines) when you have not even been asked to pay. Sent them two cheques in the post, both for £8, that is the daily charge.
I ended the letter saying i won,t be paying anymore unless you want to take me to court. Not heard anything back yet.

Good luck !
I had to stick them out to the court appearance for a parking fine, even the though the car was clearly displaying a valid ticket, which was witnessed by another traffic warden who just happened to be by the car when we got back to it and wrote me a note on official BCC paper. Every car in the street had been fined !

We have just had a text from a couple coming to stay in farm cottage asking if we can remove the toaster as they are allergic to gluten.
Shame about the 30 acre field of barley 100ft in front of the cottage, straw in the shed, barley in the creep feeder and grain roller in the shed 15m behind the cottage.
I think we're becoming Guest Intolerant!

My son did the BPS application this year, got as far a “successfully” and the page wouldn’t refresh or go any further (no further buttons to press) so he took a screenshot on 11th May.

Got a phonecall yesterday from RPA “ do you want to finish your BPS application ? By the way there will be an 11% penalty……

Apparently the screen should have been able to progress beyond successfully created to submit.

Cannot complain until after reduced payment received 😡

The odds of both of them genuinely being allergic to gluten are very high.

I bet they've never been diagnosed by a Doctor, more a case of "I haven't eaten any bread today and I don't feel ill" "Same here, we must both be gluten intolerant"

I'd ask for a Medical Certificate
