As the title, what's hot and what's not. Currently have Spearhead 686 VFR that is showing its age, although improving parts seem to take forever to come. With the September 1st start date we need a hedgecutter that works 7 days a week, not just 3. Would definitely stick with linkage mounting, think the VFR a bit over rated after a dozen years experience. Without much research I like the look of Shelbourne Reynolds mainly due to good experience with the company. Weaving look cheap but I guess for a reason?

Shelbourne Reynolds is a very good machine once you get all the pipes tight etc to start with. Hell of a up grade in cutting power from my old McConnell 65hp cutting system as mine went straight into a 200 acre farm of 5 year growth and ate it in less than half the time the previous no show again contractor done 2 year growth 5years back and it's a reasonably tidy to after 2 passes.
