I don't think so, in fact I think it's gone down the road that 'racism' has as an insult. Meaning that it has been thrown about so wildly that it no longer has any power. These idiotic trends happen, but there comes a point at which their ridiculousness simply becomes too much for someone, that individual (or group) openly contradicts it and then everyone else - not having to be the first to raise their heads - bravely follows on behind. I've had disagreements with wannabe-women twice now, both times when I objected to them sharing a public toilet with my little girl. And on each occasion the individuals in question went off in a huff, one after an attempt at a discussion, the other the moment I raised an objection - and people who had witnessed this didn't throw rocks at me as a horrible bigot. I think I am pretty reasonable and share the same view as most people do in this matter, i.e. that it isn't my business and I don't care what other people do in their private lives within the law. But... I draw a line when it affects me or my family - or others - in an adverse way. My little girl doesn't want men sharing a toilet with her, I think that is entirely understandable and I am prepared to support her in this, regardless of what is thrown at me. And so is nearly everybody else; but because a tiny minority shouts so loudly and, frankly, bully others into silence, they get away with it. But the Emperor's new clothes don't really fool anyone anymore, and the numbers allowing themselves to be pushed around is continually diminishing. :)
