What is min hp needed for 54 inch sawblade?

I am watching another site, a question has been asked is a basic dexta capable of driving a 54 inch sawblade and the general opinion is no which surprised me

Dexta is 23kw ish at the shaft so should be ok if you take your time. Might struggle starting the saw though as the dexta won't have anything close to the startup torque of a 23kw electric motor. Would want a much bigger tractor on it if it was me to maintain the blade speed when cutting.

Should be some momentum in that blade once going, can’t be much worse than a 2 drum mower. A Dexta in good health should keep it going if it can start it without too much revs and clutch slipping!!!

A 54" blade takes some powering, have a look at some of the woodsawing channels on Youtube and you will see. For every extra 1" of wood being sawn it gets much harder for the blade to push the sawdust out, and unless the cut is completely straight and true the wood starts to bind on the blade.
