Kubuta rtv1110 here. Bulletproof, economical on red plenty of room for winder and stakes, or dogs and feed. Downsides noisy and slow.
I’m tempted to get an electric Polaris next and charge off solar

got an old pajero, was free spent £140 on a fuel pump to get it working, my quad was around £2400 if i remember correctly

the last red i ordered was 70p per litre, petrol for my quad is around 198, im fairly confident the pajero is better on cost of fuel per mile, its got a radio, heater, sheltered from the weather, fits the dog and family in it along with a load of fencing gear, clipper just in case i need it loads of antibiotics etc

i literally only use the quad if its to wet to get around and for spraying, but given the price of petrol i think im gonna adapt it to fit it onto the pajero,

you do need a quad but as a farm vehicle and old 4x4 is always much nicer to use, i would prob still use it even if the fuel cost was similar.

different strokes for different folks i guess?

Thats what we do at the moment but find it awkward to set up loads of temporary electric fence.

Never had a quad...

But hang on, red at 70? Over 120 here 😱
