I've not met a farmer that can weld yet.
IMO:p
Oh I can. Me me me. I did a course and everything. Used to work on car shells for MOT so am a demon with the MIG. Still do it in me wellies though so that's still amusing to watch I expect when the spark heads down one of them.

A good weld is one that don't fall apart
So that makes a farmer better than the so called German experts at claas

Both sides of my lexion did this. The first on the road; blocking it!!

Can you take a better photo Mark ? looks pretty agricultural to me .

You know you are correct. It was bizzare I was stood next to it when I read Henry's post so climbed under to take the photo. "Wow, that looks rubbish" I thought. Weird as my bro did it and he is a far better fabricator than me.
Doesn't help being under the pressure of blocking a UK road with swearing arseholes all around I suppose.

I am called Steve by the way
and cant see the photo very well, one of the axle brackets let go on my baler when we looked the welding had only penetrated one bit of metal, the farmer where I was working welded it up and that held till two new brackets turned up they were no better so I got the dealer to weld them before fitting them
