American style air brake couplers. Called them glad hands I think. I used them when on a lorry in US harvest job. Easier to connect under pressure than ones we use in this country.

I hate the things. Bitches of things to connect under pressure. And forever leaking.
I use duo matic couplers on my fendts. Much better and don’t leak, easy to connect under pressure.

Trailers all use the duomatic which are always being used and the happy hand is used occasionally as it has airline connector for blowing up tyres. So hard to connect my missus can’t do it.
