What is this spoiling my Wheat?

We are a predominantly dairy farm, growing around 100 acres of wheat and 150 acres of maize under plastic.

The Wheat is all 1st Wheat swapped with maize every year. We have been doing this for around 5 years and the Wheat has looked great until about this time every year when its ripening and some ot it looks to get take all?

With it being a 1st wheat we were surprised, weve tried Lattitude and this doesnt seem to make much difference, we wondered about BYDV but the plants aren't stunted?

The crops typically still yield well, 3.8 ton last year and better the couple of years before but its really frustrating, any ideas?
