What next?

I have lost 2nd gear on the TH, changed solenoid on that gear and cleaned the pin that sometimes sticks behind the solenoid, the gearbox seems fine, no metal when i drained it out.
When you select no 2 on the twist grip it does not show on the dash and the buzzer sounds. Last few months been using 1st and 3rd around the yard but could do with 2nd in the field. It seems it could be electrical but where do you start.

Its a CAT 407.
Maybe Dave King could test the lever rather than fork out for a replacement.

Swap the wiring between two gears, that will show if you have an electrical problem or transmission problem. Ideally swap 2nd and 4th, then when you change up from 3rd it should downshift but when you change down it will up shift.
