I kept a shed full over in 2008
but have non left this year

as for area planted no more planted this week
so ahdb figure of 1.2 million ha winter with 200000 ha of spring to be planted
the harvested area will be less and the yield will fall if this rain keeps on past mid march
we could harvest less than 1 million ha we ned the weather to improve a lot to harvest more than 7 million tonnes

The AHDB EBS February report while only 14 days old starts to look somewhat optimistic.

we got winter barley and one day with rye, then it was too wet and we packed up. The rye should probably have been left in the bag as well. Now i have spring barley bags and the wettest february ever recorded here (about 140mm vs 38mm average) and standing water everywhere. Winter crops looks poor everywhere and spring will be late. Looks like 2018, just more water, and it keeps comming. 15mm today.
We have had about 1000 mm since mid-august. An average year is about 650, with much of it in june and july.
