What oil

Can someone tell
Me what the best grade of engine oil to use in a fe35 would be.

I'm currently using 15w40 but was told at the weekend that a straight 30 would be better as the new multis grade oils are too thin for old engines, however my engine was rebuilt last yr

Any help greatfully received

I use 15/40 engine oil, and TUO in the backend.
