What - other than glypho' - will kill hogweed?

Anyone got suggestions to kill off hogweed, other than glyphosate? Tried a number of things and the stuff has survived, so need some advice as to what else will work, cocktails or straight. TIA

We use Thistlex for hemlock.

CMPP/MCPA are pretty effective but sometimes it will curl over and then curl back again.

I would consider a mix of one of those with glyphosate. Fast acting but long lasting.

That would be my first thing to try.
Even works on coltsfoot which I’d found impossible to get rid of before.

I've asked my spray magician this more the same question ! He says forefront ! But that tends to be his answer to alot of questions I have !

MCPA does the job here

My agronomist says grazon will give it a headache but really it wants roundup. I've read that multiple cutting over 2 years forces it to use up all its root reserves then it either dies or us alot easier to kill.

I did spot spraying of hogweed in oats last year with grazon right rate but just reasonable application, it knocked it back severely but its back this year. did spot spraying in grass year before with stronger mix grazon and nearly drowned it (spray to point of runoff), it didnt grow back.

Not in my experience. I broke some neglected land in which had a fair bit off hogweed on it. I read an article about trials in Scotland (https://www.invasivespecies.scot/giant-hogweed-and-sheep-trial) and thought it was worth ago.

I did a stiff dose of pastor with solarplus on giant hogweed once and it worked ok. I don't think there is much between el forefronto, el pastoro or el grazono. A stiff dose of thrust may work just as well.

A small point of caution with giant hogweed is that it causes very nasty rashes/burns when it contacts skin.
