Non ag degree that I've never used.

All depends. I've barely enough practical skill to change a fan belt, and Mrs teslacoils doesn't let me wire a plug. But I'm good with numbers and growing crops.

Livestock farm, grazing, likely to be cows. Thinking maybe 6 to start with, from calf.

I'm in the wrong bit of Yorkshire for an agri college to be near enough, but I am going to look and see what they are offering.

Well you’re certainly right about the rules and regs, particularly with livestock. We started here 5 years ago from scratch, and found there’s no A-Z to follow!

There's no requirement for me to do this, just a curiosity of whats out there for beginners.

I will have a look, wouln't mind the hedgelaying as we are talking about that. I'd love to see some lambing. I need to ask if I can get in on some calfing action this time round.

But I am harbouring dreams about some plant growing on a small scale for locals and maybe some eggs, maybe a pig or 3.
