What size press for the farm workshop?

we got a 50t i think air operated from Howden tools, good machine and they were cheaper than anywhere else, as in a manuel one anywhere else was as dear or dearer than this in Howden

It's not so much the tonnage as the table area I find. The little 6 or 10 ton you'll struggle to get much bigger than a bearing housing under them.
I got a cheapo 50t a few years ago same as this but about half the price and it's been brilliant. Never had it much above 20t though

I have a 30t air operated and not found anything I couldn’t shift or straight (as yet).
A press is a must have tool for any farm workshop! I wouldn’t like to guess at the number of times it’s saved the day.

Cheers did you go there or do it over the phone

Dad went for a nosey, I mean went and lifted. Went for a few other things and probly will give them a call for other stuff but deal over the phone, we are a lot closer than you, about 15 minutes from Aughnacloy

I've got a 30t floor standing.
It's not half the machine a secondhand factory one would be, I expect, but for a few £00 I've yet to beat it. Best of all it takes up no room.
They have gone up a lot mind...
