What size steel please

I cant see how the would make any difference as the ones wareings supplied were very light tin, the previous 50ft building had none on the kit but it was at 22.5 degree pitch. What does a wareings kit work out per square metre with you as I buy through a third party and haulage kills it a bit.

No a local firm in the north of Scotland, just wondered what the margin would be. There is no hassle with wareings which is worth a lot. Any missing bits of the kit are supplied no questions and as said previously everything goes together first time.

Round us a 50' span is

305x165x40 pillars
254x146 rafters
80mm eaves tubes and wind bracing to both end bays

I'm guessing though that you'll want to be on slightly heavier than that

Just checked four square aren't CE marked so that's made me feel better

There were prices but I never looked,it makes my bits welded Allover building look good.

I'm yet to see a poor Wareings shed,they are considered the best round here.

or the ones which go from the purlin the the lower flange of the rafter

From the purlin to the lower flange. They have to have them, if it was because of under sized steel I certainly wouldn't need to use them.

I'll find it where it says it. I hate using them takes longer to put shed up so if I could get around without I would but they have to be in to be right

That makes me feel better but the last 2 buildings I have put up from wareings have been lighter and more expensive than others i quoted but I have a fair bit of trust with my supplier and wareings. Its good to hear from people in the trade and others that have used them.
