He is a big man about 6ft
You obviously knew the answer to the question that you originally asked before you started the thread. You were obviously after a bit of attention and Brown nosing from James.

People can argue all the ways they like but imo the tractor isn’t the problem, the only thing keeping the tanker anyway safe is the suzy line.

Look at how it couples up, drawbar, hook or ball and spoon, it’s still fashioned up to something with 10 bolts into its frame.
That’s over 30 tons, that if something goes wrong will go sideways really badly, really quickly.

Entirely up to yourself but I’d definitely let someone else take the risk off it.

As far as power goes I don’t notice much difference in ability pulling 15 tons, or 18.29 tons, I’m sure pulling 30 will be possible but just slower…

I don't understand why someone would be willing to invest serious money in a triaxle tanker but won't spend more than 40K on the tractor to go with it. It's going to be a slow job tankering with a modest machine pulling that about. Even a twin axle tanker can give a 200hp tractor some grief from what I've seen.
The tanker isn't big money and as I said there is a customer of mine with a 5000 gl garda pump drawing to pipes it won't be going over 40 kph and if 200 hp tractors are used freely pulling 25 ton of maize or silage then why would a tanker be any different

It’s like JCB shovels are trash because I destroyed one from poor maintenance 🤣🤣
Why do you never see a jcb loading shovel work in a quarry . Poor build quality is the reason , I traded in a 5 year o old komastu last year for a new one and I was allowed €100 k for the trade in because it was like new. It was treated the same as the Jcb before that but the Jcb fell apart.

Why not give your ford another remap & drag it about with that ?, why not buy them 5000 gallon tankers in that sale over your way

I saw those tankers working there were two big fends pulling them and a 4000 as well fitted with bauer pumps some job ,all the dairy men in ireland have increased their numbers and their silage ground is miles away ,when I had pipes the silage ground was near ,how do you manage if silage ground is away do you still use pipes

we can pump slurry 2 miles or more now & after that we use 3000 gallon tankers with trailing shoes on them
