What small telehandler to lift 2ton max?

I'll take that as a buy new and replace at 3 years user of a 625👍. Still think they are a great handler in their class.

They're good, i think it might be manitou most successful model IMO! The axles could do with being beefier but if your replacing every 3 years that wouldn't concern you hopefully.

Never had any axle issues, grease weekly and no problems. Fuel filter not up to it though, solved with an in-line filter added. Needs LED lights on the tier 4 ones as alternator isn't big enough for halogen.

Could cope with that lift height anything to watch for?

Just all the normal things. Steering pins, ujs etc. Worn headstock and boom pads.

If used in straw they can suck up straw off ground as you run over it and block rad.
The fan is a blower not a sucker so it blows hot air off engine through rad and out the back. I'm sure if it was a problem a sucker fan could be found that sucks nice cold air through the rad and be easier to clean and visually rad is blocked.
