A couple of dry days and the lakes are starting to recede. Birds are singing and thoughts are turning to spring. So what are your plans for the flooded area's ?
Leave them, plant a cover or patch in a spring crop of similar type ?

But seriously, last year waterlogged stubble turnip ground became so hard as to be nearly unworkable within about 3 weeks, I think time and a bit of patience combined with longer warmer days forgives a multitude of sins.

Marvelous improvisation. But my initial reaction and concern were, first, had you updated your Red Tractor soil management plan with your current plans; and, second, are those seats and crates to Red Tractor standard. It is most important. When you have finished I can send you to a few other places that would benefit from your ingenuity.

😂😂 thought the title would get traction 😉

I now realise I am officially old and decrepit. The Mmmmm other connotation of a 'damp patch' never even crossed my mind. All I could think of was wet areas on skirt fen soils and then my mind slipped to that irritating bit of mould on the inside wall under a bedroom window. Ah well, such is life.

By the looks of the baron landscape ,plant trees on it. Would earn more long term and do more good than frigging about burning diesel ( albeit red) with some fancy novel new notil drill in order to post pics on tdaw.
