What to expect at Agritechnica 2019?

If you haven’t been to Agritechnica before and would like to know what the show is like, then here are a selection of videos from Agritechnica 2015 and 2017.

On the face of it this could be the best ever Agritechnica for new tractor launches, maybe we will see new JD 8R, 8RT, 8RX? 7R, 6R, 6Ms already revealed. New CASE Quadtracs, Optums and Pumas? New New Holland T7HD, T7s with dynamic command plus bigger cabs with automotive quality ride as per HSE directives. Claas Axion/ Arions due changes, Fendt 700s and 800s to follow on from superb new 900s. JCB 4000 series could get more HP. Valtra, MF must be due something to rival Fendt 800, JD 7R, NH T7HD in the 270-320hp bracket. Have I missed anything

I've been. To be honest, I've lost most of interest for UK ag and any enthusiasm for it.

None of the new machines mentioned above will be of much use on our little farm.

Most of the machinery is aimed at factory farms in eastern bloc countries. Large contractors, farming companies.

Just don't think its relevant to our business.

If big shiny machines turn you on. Go for it.

I've been. To be honest, I've lost most of interest for UK ag and any enthusiasm for it.

None of the new machines mentioned above will be of much use on our little farm.

Most of the machinery is aimed at factory farms in eastern bloc countries. Large contractors, farming companies.

Just don't think its relevant to our business.

If big shiny machines turn you on. Go for it.

It helps a lot after 5-10 years when You try to decide what to bay from this kit... ?

Now Lamma is at the NEC there is beer available in the concourse. But due to the restrictions on stands there is very little available there. The catering on stands at Agritechnica is another level.

I can’t think of any UK indoor shows that are similar. But in reality I’m irking when at the show so don’t drink (much) so drinking is done in the evening. Which is a great part of the social element of the trip.

Actually I found the opposite at agritechnica With many halls full of smaller kit and products / specs we simply don’t see in the uk

The big stuff is a sight but it doesn’t really interest me either

Yeah your right.

I enjoyed the hall where it had component suppliers. You could have went round and bought all parts to build your own tractor.

Must be due to contributions to parts department.
