What was John Deere 6R Ultimate Edition in 2017 ?

What was included in Ultimate Edition back then ?
I cannot find any infos about it. Now it is new joystick etc but I want to know what was it in 2015-2018 models.

I would think auto power command arm, big pump, front links and pto. 4600 with premium activation.

No, one off activation fee for premium or ultimate activation.
However early models may need a processor upgrade to run certain premium/ultimate features on the 4600.

As far as I’m aware activations are a one off payment. I have premium activation on my 4600 and 4640 display both where one off activation payment.

Hm, I have read few times on US forums that only Autotrac is one time unlock fee and all other like Section Control is yearly sub on 4640.

Thanks for the list. Now I only need to find that list for 6R Ultimate Edition so I know what I get if I pay bit more for one than normal or Premium Edition.

I think in the states it is a subscription rather than a one off activation, they could offer both? I believe jd are a lot more controlling about software in the states, I’ve seen it come up a few times about ownership over there!

Yes, that’s what I do with my 4640 and previously my 2630 screens. However in the states the activations on those screens are on a subscription basis so you can pay monthly not only for a signal etc but also for the activation to use it.

I got a 6155r new in 2018 and I’m sure it’s a classed as a ultimate but it didn’t come with much more than standard spec. I could still take things off it that I didn’t want when we were going through the order process. If your wanting to know what a certain tractor has then get your dealer to check it out on there system.

Give anyone in any deere dealer the serial number and they will give you its exact spec. It's not a given that a premium or ultimate is a standard spec. It's a starting point from which any spec can be added or taken off. The newer ones from about 2019 come with command pro with the ultimate spec which can't be taken off, but a 2017 wouldn't have command pro anyway.

I was thinking Ultimate is a package like on cars, you know what every car has if it has some package.
Dealers know what it contains now but I need for older tractors. I can check with VIN but not to call every day to check.

There are JD people here so maybe they will have info what was included in Ultimate Edition spec back then.

What are differences with 4600 v1 vs 4600 v2 screen ? I see that it is possible to upgrade ECU for 1500€.

Priced ultimate edition end of last year,command pro was extra as was electric mirrors and led lights,I was always under the illusion they came fully loaded but obviously not
