As the title really what do you think will happen to UK ag outside the eu,not know anything else so can some of our more enlightened members tell us please

Outside EU ag?

My list.

Sheep sector 60% cut in numbers. No access to the market so no demand.

Much more forestry.

Beef a cut of 15 to 20% in size. Brazilian beef is standard.

No poultry. All imported from Thailand and Brazil.

No pig sector. As above.

Cereals as now. Ever larger units.

No veg sector as no staff. Factories and packhouses relocated.

Food price kept as low as possible to buy votes.

A cut of 60% in staff and farmer numbers 10 years post leave.

we will carry on farming much the same but AG policy will be down to our Government, they will be responsible for trade deals and tariffs and rules and regs etc
look to their past record on AG for the things they have had control of BPS for a start as well as them being responsible for BSE foot and mouth and TB
So not a great record expect more of the same
Farmers are less than 2% of the population so vote a government out ? no we can't and even if we could there is no better alternative

But not to worry as we have our NFU to sort it all out for us

<In true remain campaign scaremongering style >

if we leave europe I don't think plants will grow anymore and all our livestock will die the day after a exit vote surely ?

It will decided in each General Election.

Expect another even bigger dust up.

Expect Labour to do even worse and Conservatives ? UKIP ? Labours will probably shift to Greens.
