applying for a countryside capital grant for some walling and hedge laying. Question in the eligibility section - "If you are a tenant of a public body or have obligations in your tenancy/are subject to any other legal commitments to carry out environmental management please tick to confirm you are not seeking funding for these activities in your application."

I'm not a tenant of a public body or have any obligations, so do I tick yes or no? Having looked up in the rules I know what the answer is, but who the hell comes up with these questions!

My assumption is the question leads with the assumption that the assumption is you should tick to confirm or so I would assume?

It should probably be worded more like "Tick here to confirm you are not seeking funding for activities in which you already have some other legal commitment to carry out"
