What weight are they? 400 kilos ( always hard to tell from a pic tbh ) so that's £2 kilo, not worth that on the current store trade thou of course you only need two people to really want them and the price could easily be £50/80 head more than an indentical pen 30 mins later!
I’d say 460 kilos with their age but it’s hard to tell from a pic

will be being south devon x Knock the price back abit?? First time ever had them to sell. Normally all Lim and blue x
Yes because they would have abit more shape if they were limx or bbx and grade better when fat and the store buyers factor it when buying. Job to value or weigh from pictures but i had them at about 420kg

If you're selling privatley per kilo liveweight then they would need to be £1.50-£1.55 max, you may get someone offer you a little more if you're lucky. Not a price to get excited about but they're better off sold as stores. If they were named sire Angus you would probably get an extra 5-10p per kilo

£750. Square arse at that age. Not in great demand. I would get £950 after finishing them. South Devon X Holstein at old age. I would have fattened indoors and got them away by 16 months.

Pay £750 + £60 haulage ( x2 ) and killing fees in that £60 head = £810 then 100 days at £1.80 head a day = £180 so £990 costs - £950 sale price = NET loss of £40 head!
