Crikey that’s an early one. V reg is 79/80 isn’t it? Not 1985… we had a dominator 85 years ago that was no bother but I’d be concerned how little that combine came in at if he’s making profit at 7k. Depends what acreage you’re hoping to do with it; 12’ cut on a tired combine wouldn’t want much more than 50ac would it(?)

That is a very early one , and it's a bit over priced in my opinion, unless you have grain to cut next week, I would be looking for something a little bit better for that money.
You will need to be good with the spanners, and happy to get down n dirty with its guts on something like that, however after a couple years sorting something like that out, it would do a small acreage each year ok,
If it were me I would be looking for a 86, or even a 96, and a 15 foot header

combine like that could 300ac/season....only reason ppl don't is bigger s/h combines available
