Isn't that exactly what's happening? larger units historically staffed with eastern European workers doing 70 hour weeks. The model is broken and it's these herds that are going. Total guess but I suspect they represent a very large proportion of uk milk supply.Just don’t get the negativity is all. Folk really need to look at their business models.

One has gone for solar, but most beef and Arable, then run the farm in to the ground
Just to counter, I do know of someone starting a 400 cow herd from scratch locally .
